    Lol, I love the way Peter’s surname is censored, and then at the end it says “Mr. Miller”. Er… Peter Miller maybe??

    Fake as, surely teachers arent allowed students on their facebook…

  3. June 2nd, 2010 at 07:25 | #3

    Agreed w/ Jared
    Toby- yes they are, tons of students have their teachers added, some teachers choose not to add their students and some students choose not to add their teachers but they are allowed to

    And also did anyone else think it was odd that they censored half of Martin’s first name?

    It doesn’t seem very likely that a student with a tendency to say these kinds of things would add the said Mr Miller, or indeed that the teacher, most likely aware of the student’s attitude, would accept or add them themselves.

    This is why you dont add your teacher and post crap about them on your wall….

    Fake. I dunno what Mr Miller is supposed to teach, but the only people who would randomly capitalise “screenshot” and “words” would be teens. Also the teacher wouldn’t announce consultation with a counsellor on a public medium.

    Definatly a fake, why would they censor the last name and then use it at the end? They are just trying to cover up that the guys last name is not actually miller.

    why they censor it anyway when there are probably thouands of Peter Millers out there anyway, fair enough if it was some weird name

    isn’t it a bit unprofessional to add students though? i have friends who teach i know they’re encouraged to maintain as much distance as possible between themselves and the students outside of school. unless they’re related or next door neighbours or something.

    nevertheless this is one of many similar status screenshots that keep cropping up and i suspect at least half of them are fake. it wouldn’t exactly be difficult to make one.

    He is a bit stupid if he forgot that he added his teacher. I’m still careful of what I put as I’ve got my dad as a friend on facebook.

    Anonymous :@Toby they really arent allowed to add kids while the kid gets in trouble for posting something like that on facebook the teacher would be fired for adding students. one of my teachers told me that ita against the law if they get caught.

    I think it’s kinda obvious it was a fellow student who wrote it. That’s why Peter’s surname is blanked out, to make it look genuine. It’s just a joke..

    @Olwyni
    No it’s not. I’ve added four of my teachers from high school while I was still in high school. But I do agree that most of these statuses are fake.
