If you are giving up fast food because of “killing animals horribly,” then you should consider giving up meat all together. The leaflet is very misleading in that it only mentions mcdonalds and other fast food venues. Truth be told, if its not organic/cage-free/grass-fed, chances are they are raised and slaughtered in much the same way.

Anonymous is right, my father works for a food supply company that serves many fast food restaurants along with schools, sports stadiums, even places like ShopRite and Walmart. All food comes from the same source, there is no special “McDonalds slaughterhouse” there is a general slaughterhouse that sends food to a distribution center which is then sent out to its clients. It’s a 3 step process almost: Farmers>Preparation>Distribution. Take a look at companies like McCain and Simplot, they serve more than just fast food just as an example, but their biggest clients are in fact fast food for a reason. They make the most money.

What they saying? In the slaughterhouse, animals often struggle to escape. Cattle become frantic as they watch the animal before them in the killing-line being prodded, beaten, electrocuted, and knifed.? that is not true, in a slaughter house they have to have inspectors to see how the animal is killed and if the animal is killed in such a way the plant gets shut down. and mc donalds would have a law suit. and that would be such an inoffcient way of killing instead, my aunt is one of these inspectors, and they stun the cow with a gun, then they pet it make it feel comfortable then they shoot it.

these propaganda is very bias.. I looked at this to share my thoughts about these issues.. Mcdonald has been giving jobs for people since.. these people work here and earn money to support many things like family, themselves, schooling, etc.. go ahead and destroy the reputation of these company and let see how many people will be lay off and will be out of their jobs.. On the other hand, go be a vegetarian and starve yourselves.. humans are omnivores.. we eat both plants and animals because we need both to get our nutrition.. we are not herbivores that can build muscle by just eating plants.. learn some nutritional facts from someone who really know these things..

Lovely little site, most of the information is common knowledge at the very least for people I know and from the few comments here there are some valid points and some monkeys with typewriters. The world is as it is and if your going to try and bring down an entire company one especially as large as Mcdonalds then good luck to you. Just change yourself if your unhappy or if any of this supposed “Secret information” has made you feel unhappy with how your eating is or you eating meat then again, change yourself but bringing down the company would throw not only the economy off but also punch a hole into the delicate western society we have, said hole being filled in by either another company on the rise or one of the already large fast food producers. So anything short of a nuclear war or some other form of “Shit just hit the fan” disaster that would alter everything we know WON’T change much more outside then you, your peers, your family and so on.

Umm okay. You all have no idea and are very confused. Okay? Here it is. Mcdonalds is not good for you and they use class c meat which is the same as dog food. But, I’m sure a lot of these tjings you guys are hearing is NOT true because the USDA would most certainly not pass it if it was that bad for you or if they were feeding you unsanitary products. So there.

Okay. Um. I think everyone needs to take a breather.
I tried being a vegetarian and failed miserably, mostly because I love me a good steak. Yeah, I feel bad for the animals, but not eating meat won’t save their lives. They’ll still get killed.
But for real, stop dissing vegetarians! It’s their choice whether or not they want to eat that way, not yours. It’s called respecting other peoples’ opinions. Learn how to do that - you sound like a bunch of pissy fourteen year olds. Jesus.

Ok, MEG. The othe guy is right. You might as well give up meat altogether. They kill animals for food. That is why god put them on this earth, to eat. So we can survive. If you believe in god, you would understand that. If you dont, then…>_>

I’m not sure how reliable information so old is, but anyone with and IQ above 6 should know better than to eat fast-food simply for health reasons. Honestly how can people choose to neglect a healthy diet and exercise when they could be feeling fantastic 24/7?
