How did it get hold of a hippo? Anacondas are from South America, hippos are from Africa. However, I think it is likely to be a tapir – slightly smaller than a hippo, with the right kind of feet to those we see clearly as it first vomits it up. Hippo feet don’t look anything like those feet, and the head’s too pointy for it to be a hippo.
Awesome video, but it made me wonder how accurate the title is. How did an anaconda (endemic to South America) get hold of a hippo (endemic to Africa)? While there are a few wild hippos in South America (specifically Columbia, after escaping from Pablo Escobar’s private zoo) I highly doubt this is a hippo, the head and feet are all wrong (head is too pointy, feet have too many toes and toes are too distinct).
Given that the anaconda is native to South America, I believe this is more likely a tapir (also endemic to South America), as the pointy head, size and shape, skin texture, and shape and number of toes match those displayed by the tapir.

And I must say, ambitious snake is indeed, ambitious!
And never show this to any woman who’s given birth! They’d KILL to push out something perspectively only a quarter of that size, and have their pushing hole to go back to normal perkiness in a month, let alone five to ten minutes!
does anyone notice that all sound goes away when they start to show the hippo comming out? i think its fake. it might have happened just in reverse where the anaconda ate the hippo or watever it was i dont think it ate it and spit it out. i think it just ate it and they put it in reverse cuz like i sed the sound went away
Would not want to be the hippo that day ~~
nor the anaconda.

Poor anaconda. Didn’t get to digest its food. I hope there was a freaking reason they were bothering it, and not just to make it cough up its food. :/
I remember this. They thought it may have swallowed a person and were actually shocked to see the hippo (or whatever the actual animal was)
i would of laughed that after it had coughed it up it tried to eat it again
@Dae
i think they were trying to make it cough up cause they thought it might of been a kid
