She is incredibly beautiful, and yet not striking at all. I feel like I’ve seen her in a million advertisements and movies but never paid her any attention. I guess people need something unusual or striking to make them stand out as beautiful to me.

The more faces you average out the image on the better looking it will appear because we’re naturally attracted to an idealised version of a “normal” face because it’s what we’re used to AND it will usually be symmetrical which correlates with a lower risk of cancer, etc.

Exactly what the person above me said. And to the first Anon., it’s also probably meaning to the white population of North America. No offense or racism meant. If you were to average out the faces of all the women or all the men in your area, you would be more attracted to the looks of that morpho image than any other person you know due to the reason stated above.
