    Most of these ‘facts’ are wrong. Most obviously number 49. It is one of the many lies purported to be fact but isn’t

    And we laugh 13 times a day, but an adult laughs 15 to 100 times a day?
    Plus the number google is spelt googol and is one with 100 zeros, not a million.

    what a bunch of crap. hair and nails only appear to continue to grow because the skin recedes. and most dog bites are caused by golden retrievers. what causes dimples is genetics, otherwise we’d all have them. etc etc etc

    and genetics are the reason the skin attaches to our muscles in a fashion that causes dimples… and the hair and nails do grow…not sure about dog bites though

    um tom^ nails and hair keep growing after death because they are both made up of dead skin cells. since you are dead, you have a lot of them.

    Actually hair and nails don’t grow, it’s just that as the skin shrivells the hair and nails appears to have grown from when the body was buried

    Number 10 is wrong, the sound ya hear is called a standing wave resulting from the buildup of a particular frequency due to the shape of the shell.

    I wonder who takes the time to come out with such plop :P

    The website Snopes.com can debunk several of these supposed “facts”.

    My fav here is #27. I love spoonerisms; they’re hilarious. The best spoonerism is Brad Pitt’s and Angelina Jolie’s baby Shiloh Pitt. (I know it’s technically Jolie-Pitt but it’s just soo much funnier this way). XD

    the nail and hair do grow but only for about a month or so. and google is a search engine(obv) and a GOOGOL is a number w/ a hundred zeroes. the guys who made google ment for it to be googol but spelt it wrong

    #26 :: Google is a common name for a number with a Million Zeros…
    -ACTUALLY- Its called a Googol. And a Googolplex is 1 followed by a Googol of zeros. ^-^ The only reason I know that is because its my favorite number… Who else walks around saying “Yeah.. Googol is my favorite number”?

    31 = actuually, it’s snapping the ligaments not bursting bubbles lol
    32 = the body actually shrinks, causing it to look as though the hair and nails are growing
    39 = err..according to my translator ‘colgate’ means ‘colgate’ in spanish and english o_O
    40 = untrue. The rabbit has two blind spots; one directly in front of him/her and one directly behind him/her
    ahah!! 48 is an example of cruel irony x’D

    weyho: no, the generally accepted medical explanation for your knuckles and other joints cracking is bursting bubbles. you’d have some big problems if your ligaments snapped every time you cracked your knuckles. o.O

    as a native spanish speaker, we make jokes about Colgate, and it does mean “hang yourself” but Colgate never had marketing problems in spanish-speaking countries… it’s actually like the best selling toothpaste… SO WRONG!
    ehh I think most of em are just bullcrap.
