Hey there! Want some tips on how to text in class? Here’s 11. I text in class, have been doing so since I got a phone, and have been caught about 4-5 times. This comes form experiance. Learn from it.

1. Turn off your ringer! This may seem obvious, but it applies. I have heard ringers in class. Consider using Silent all, because some phones vibrate isn’t quiet.

2. Text in a class where the teachers allows it. Some teachers really don’t care if you text or not.

3. Use other people as a screen. What I mean by this is if you are sitting behind someone, put the phone almost up to their back. Works best if they are in on it and won’t move.

4. Leave class. Works only if you intend on sending 1-2 messages, because if you leave class more than once per period they will be onto you.

5. Be aware of your surroundings. If a teacher is walking towards you, put the phone away as FAST as you can. Which is better: sending a text or losing your phone?

6. Lights are off? Don’t text. Unless you can do it without looking at your phone, but then you have the problem of reading messages.

7. Before you start, turn off or turn down the brightness. Lower brightness = hard to see.

8. Pick a good seat. Near the back is better. I find the worst is on the sides, the front is hard but not impossible. The side of the class rooms have little cover.

9. Spend a few classes to observe the teacher. Do they stick to one half of the room? Sit in the other. Do they patrol? Start to text as soon as they pass you, giving you the most time possible.

10. If you are in the computer lab/room/etc: You can send using e-mail, it’s pretty easy to do actually. Google will tell you how.

11. Learn your phone so you can text without Looking, expect to read messages.

And the most important tip:

Don’t be obvious! Don’t laugh randomly, don’t look down all the time and don’t ever forget – COMMON SENSE!

Have fun.

Maybe if he stopped texting in class and started paying attention he’d be able to spell “experience”.

the sides are the best! you can have the phone right up to the side of your leg on the side away from the teacher and text away like mad. they cant see through your leg after all but you can still see the screen. there is nowhere to hide it when you’re facing the teacher

    This is garbage.
All you need is …. A phone on vibrate, in between your legs but not touching the chair.
Dont sit in the front row.
    Memorize the keyboard/num pad.
When the teacher comes, put the phone as far under your legs as possible to not have it touch your seat. Then, cover it CASUALLY

WHEN THE TEACHER COMES, DO NOT freak out and throw the phone in your desk !! The teacher will OBVIOUSLY see you do it and take your phone away !
Texting in class is SIMPLE! My classmates that sit beside me get in shit for checking the time on their phone, while Im having full out text convos !

Better idea: Don’t text. Listen to the instruction so you can remember it, and you’ll never fail a test. Simply listening and learning is all you need to ace a test. Memorizing and cramming before a test, because of not listening and texting, is useless.
