1. Body Language
Watch their hands, studies show that people tend to touch their face and scratch their nose when lying
2. Eyes
Liars tend to blink a lot, and don’t maintain eye contact.
3. Words
When lying, people will tend to skip contractions, saying “did not” instead of “didn’t.” Liars also avoid pronouns, saying “him/her” instead of their actual names.
4. Posture
Liars like to keep their posture closed, folding their arms for example. Liars also unconsciously tend to put and object between you, like a cup of coffee.
5. Mouth
When normal, people smile using many facial muscles, but liars tend to have an unnatural creepy half smile.
6. Pause
When talking to the liar, pause momentarily, if the person feels restless and uncomfortable, they may be lying.
7. Details
If they’re giving detail than necessary, this may be a bad sign. People tend to be overly specific when lying.
8. Change the subject
If they seemed relieved that the subject has been changed, this is a red flag that they’ve been lying straight to your face

Eye-thingie is not true. Liars often think it’s like that and try to maintain a solid eye contact. However if story told needs fetching memories, eye contact is expected to break several times. During these times eyes wander. So it’s more like: If eyes seem too controlled to be natural, you can expect that something in the story isn’t quite right.
you can also tell by where they’re facing like if they’re facing their right which is the creative side it could mean they’re lying because they’re trying to think of what to make up
someone once told me the LL & RR rule which is look to the left is a lie, look to the right is recall . Left Lie & Right Recall
Yes, but which way were their eye pointing when they told you this?
The side thing has absolutely no truth to it. Different parts of the brain are all involved in many aspects rather than isolation to one hemisphere the temporal lobe is in fact a large part of creativity but both hemispheres interact. As for the eye contact thing – what Chiina said, spot on.
Hahahaha
@eeeeeeeeeeel
The left is the creative side. When someone looks up and to the right, they are trying to remember a fact, which means they’re most likely telling the truth.
Um I don’t maintain eye contact for most things because it makes me uncomfortable, it’s weird to look someone in the eye.
I am now not sure where you’re getting your information, but good topic. I needs to spend a while learning more or working out more. Thank you for fantastic information I was in search of this info for my mission.
