Really? Why all the hate for the girls? Just because one party is ready for marriage that doesn’t necessarily mean the other is as well. Seems the guys need to get to know their ladies a little better next time before popping the question, if you’re going to make a huge spectacle of it make sure the lady would be ok with something like that, otherwise she’ll just be embarrassed and so will you.

This is bs, i don’t get why guys have to endure the pain when we get turned down. Those girls just don’t know what its like to be denied. Why can’t girls ask instead of guys so that when they get turned down, they’ll know the pain

Seriously… Why are the women ‘bitches’ for saying no to a marriage proposal they don’t want? Oh… that’s right- waiting until the wedding day or a few months after the marriage would have been less bitchy!

What the fuck ever happened to casual dating with no marriage obligation?

Well i feel bad for those guys, but obviously marriage was never talked about before they proposed.

In most cases… I can see how the girls would reject them. Putting your girlfriend on the spot like that in front of god knows how many spectators is just plain cruel. The only guy I felt sorry for was the one who got slapped at the baseball game. Its one thing to say no. Its quite another thing to slap the poor guy during what is a very vulnerable moment for him. Even if she rejected him for putting that on her in front of so many people.

This is the cruelest thing I’ve ever seen. Why would anyone laugh at something that is extremely painful for others?

The guys are the dumb ones, a proposal should be something special. Proposing at a sporting event is cheezy. I do feel bad for the guys but its their own fault. It should be done in private and celebrated after she says yes in public.

That is not funny at all. At least not the real ones where the girl says no. I feel really bad for those guys. It takes a lot of courage to propose, and each one of those guys really tried to make it special.

And that’s not to say that the girl HAS to say yes, but the least we could do is not laugh at someone else’s pain.

That’s really sad… But most of those proposals didn’t take place at places the ladies would normally go to (instead of proposing at YOUR favorite sports team’s game, why not go back to some romantic dinner spots (like the first guy did)??? You tailor the proposal to the person you’re asking to marry you, not tailor it to the way you’d get married… Or at least that’s what they tell us to do when we’re thinking about proposing to our significant others… You know, make it about the person…

If they’re bashful, probably something more intimate would be better… If they aren’t, do it at a family get together (not someone else’s wedding, though)… Come on guys! Y’all can do better than that!

Being a girl, I believe every girl has dreamt of being proposed to. Most of what we see here are really public proposals. Which really puts a lot of stress on a girl. I believe that guys that plan to propose should do some research to figure out how she wants to be proposed to. Maybe talk to her best friend?

If they don’t love the guy, you shouldn’t swear at them for it.
They shouldn’t be forced to marry him.

Yeah, most of them are fake. And one of them was in a science classroom; that can’t be taken seriously. The one with the boat was planned and therefore not a fail at all.
